Accent Group Case study
Accent Group has grown from small beginnings in rural Maungaturoto thirteen years ago to a specialised team of close to 30 in new premises at Wellsford, an hour north of Auckland.
As specialist manufacturers, Accent were looking to create a new brand identity and system that reflected who they were today yet kept a link with their roots.
Logo
The new Accent brand mark has been created to be a constant reminder of the three pillars that drive the business, people, environment and production.
The negative space at the centre reflects the outstretched arms of the team supporting the three pillars.
The tag line "manufacturing solutions" is deliberately broad, recognising the wide range of activities Accent is, and wants to be, known for.
Stationery and print
The basic stationery carries through the triangular theme, whilst the vision book sent to customers provides the story of change and uses textures and finishes as a back-drop to the story being told.
Basic brand guidelines have been created to ensure that staff understand how the brand can be locked-up on different materials.
Environmental elements
Interior signage has been created and recommendations made for styling the public areas in the new offices.
Website
The new website is designed to have clean lines and carry through the overall look and feel of the brand. Aimed at showcasing the production capabilities as much as specific product lines, the website is set to be an important part of on-going marketing and communication activities.
