Brand refreshment

With a history dating back over fifty years, Gartner Superlux is New Zealand's Leading Lighting designer and manufacturer. Retaining their trademark "Lamp" image, we introduced a modern font treatment for the name and developed a series of supporting graphics and house-sty|e elements to create a co-ordinated, modern, fresh look for the brand. Ulimately the web site was developed and introduced, check it out:  www.futureprooflighting.co.nz

Website

The Supertux website was designed to appeal to the end consumer as well as the trade. The objective was to encourage end consumers to"push" their electricians / architects towards Superlux products. With "things to know" sections and innovation showcases, the website helps to position Superlux as THE AUTHORITY on Lighting in New Zealand.

Task brochures

Having helped to re-style the main catalogue, we identified the need for a series of specialised brochures that targeted particular customer segments. The first, Task Lighting, has been promoted through specialist engineering publications as well as the healthcare sector.

Staff brand book

We recognised through our work, that we had to re-position Superlux in the marketplace, that it was imperative to explain to the staff what was happening, the reasons for change, and the role they played in making the changes a success. We developed a brand vision book which was presented by the MD to all staff at small group meetings and now forms an integral part of the staff induction process.

Print and stationery

We developed a colour code system coupled with a series of natural light images that were applied to catalogues and print advertising. The “energy band" becomes a common element that is used across all media.
