Working closely with the brand owner we had first to define a brand name and a series of domain names with .com extensions as the company operates extensively overseas.
Being an expert in glass software design, we knew the positioning was best suited around the expert area rather than on product attributes. This helped the brand to rise above its competitors who were firmly grounded in product attribute positioning.
The "smart" prefix together with a product descriptor was surprisingly available with a .com suffix and we quickly secured these.
The owl concept provides a strong visual support for the "smart" positioning, and the layering helps to bring in the association with glass.
